Tigran Melikian first joined CRRC-Armenia in February 2023, as a research fellow. Since September 2023, he has been an Associated Researcher at CRRC-Armenia. He specializes in qualitative research, policy analysis, and data interpretation, with a particular focus on Gender and Sexuality, Child & Youth Identity and Protection, Education, and Social Inclusion. At CRRC-Armenia, Tigran has been involved in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, fundraising proposals, supporting research on public perceptions, and contributing to analytical reporting and policy-relevant studies. He has played an active role in editing and contributing to major research projects, including feminist and gender studies, and youth engagement. Tigran holds an MSc degree in Sociology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a BA in Education (with honors) from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. He has also been active as an Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights youth advocate, and as a board member and organizer within various student associations. Tigran is fluent in Dutch and English, and speaks German and Armenian at an intermediate level.
