Survey of the Providing Professional Services of Development and Conducting Voter Education programs

Project Description:

The project pursues an overall goal of conducting a survey to assess cumulative impact and efficiency of the voter education and election-support programs of UNDP.

The experts’ team is to develop and apply a set of monitoring indicators to assess:

  • voters’ access to information about the electoral process,
  • level of political awareness,
  • impact of Voter Education on the level of participation,
  • knowledge of voter registration and electoral procedures,
  • perceptions and attitude towards the Central Electoral Commission and suggested improvements.

Research Design:

A countrywide survey will be conducted among 1,500 respondents randomly selected from urban and rural areas throughout Armenia to:

  • Assess the results achieved by the Voter Education programs as a whole, and per project in relation to the outcomes;
  • Identify and document the factors  that had  facilitated  and/or  hindered  the  achievement  of  results
  • Document successfully replicable models / best practices;
  • State to what extent the above-mentioned programs have addressed gender and youth-related cross-cutting issues

  • Final Report
