Lilit Yezekyan is the CEO of CRRC-Armenia Foundation since November 2025. Prior to this, she held the position of Research Director since April 2021.
In her leadership role, she oversees the organization’s overall development and strategic direction while managing its functioning. ensuring methodological rigor, innovation, and strategic alignment across CRRC-Armenia’s diverse portfolio of social science and policy studies.
Before joining CRRC-Armenia, Lilit spent more than a decade at the Central Bank of Armenia, working as an economist-analyst and economist-statistician. There, she contributed to macroeconomic research, data analysis, and policy evaluation. Earlier in her career, from 2004 to 2009, she worked at the Armenian-European Policy and Legal Advice Center (AEPLAC), where she held various administrative and economic policy-related roles, providing analytical and advisory support to the Government of Armenia within the framework of EU-Armenia cooperation initiatives.
Lilit obtained her Master’s degree in Statistics and Information Management (Data Science) from NOVA Information Management School in Portugal in 2025. She is also a certified process mining expert (Celonis) and holds a degree in Management and Economics. Additionally, she has completed several international executive and professional development programs, including the Executive Program in Public Policy and Public Administration at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University, USA) and the Applied Economic Policy Program at the Joint Vienna Institute. Her current academic and professional interests focus on process science, data-driven policymaking, economic analysis, and evidence-based decision-making.
She is fluent in Armenian, English, and Russian.
