Hasmik has joined CRRC Armenia in March 2022. She is an experienced researcher with an MSc in Sociology (University of Oxford, UK) and MA in Political Science (AUA, Armenia) and strong project management and research skills. Thanks to her educational background and work experience, Hasmik has been closely involved in a number of far-reaching development projects and advocacy activities, which have afforded her first-hand knowledge of the formidable challenges encountered by modern societies and helped her further specialize in Research Design and MEL techniques. Her main research interests lie in the area of community-based public policies and sustainable development through capacity building for education institutions, civil society, local communities, and decision-makers. As a researcher and MEL Expert Hasmik has developed a wealth of experience collaborating with various civil society organizations and conducting evaluations of civil society strengthening projects funded by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and Finland, the U.S. Embassy/USAID, the CoE, the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women, ABA ROLI, etc., as well as advising them how best to promote effective use and dissemination of findings.
