Ofelia Grigoryan is a MA student at the Faculty of Sociology, Yerevan State University. She has worked in various companies being part of all phases of sociological researches. Beginning from February, 2013 she has been the Chairman of Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Sociology. She has participated in total of 6 conferences including the one dedicated to the 8th anniversary of Faculty of Sociology, in the frames of which she has won the 1st prize after L.Harutyunyan. Ofelia is author of 4 scientific articles and 1 thesis. Her research interests include the fields of urban sociology, identity studies and sociology of education. In 2015 she received CRRC – Armenia scholarship for implementing the fieldwork of her research.

The topic of thesis – “Housing transformations of Yerevan city: historical – sociological analysis”.
