Ryan is currently involved in the activities of CRRC-Armenia as an Associated Researcher․ Previously he was CRRC-Armenia’s Research and Development Officer. After completing a M.Ed in Higher Education in 2013, he was awarded a Fulbright grant to teach English for two years at Balikesir University, Turkey. In 2015, he continued to stay in Turkey to teach in the Tourism Studies Department of Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University. After returning to the United States in 2017, he began his MA in Political Science while simultaneously interning on Capitol Hill and briefly working at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. He began working with CRRC-Armenia through the Armenian Volunteer Corps in November 2019 until transitioning as the center’s Research and Development Officer. His areas of interest include populism, nationalism, and human rights.
