Project Description:
The project pursues an overall goal of conducting a survey to assess cumulative impact and efficiency of the voter education and election-support programs of UNDP.
The experts’ team is to develop and apply a set of monitoring indicators to assess:
- voters’ access to information about the electoral process,
- level of political awareness,
- impact of Voter Education on the level of participation,
- knowledge of voter registration and electoral procedures,
- perceptions and attitude towards the Central Electoral Commission and suggested improvements.
Research Design:
A countrywide survey will be conducted among 1,500 respondents randomly selected from urban and rural areas throughout Armenia to:
- Assess the results achieved by the Voter Education programs as a whole, and per project in relation to the outcomes;
- Identify and document the factors that had facilitated and/or hindered the achievement of results
- Document successfully replicable models / best practices;
- State to what extent the above-mentioned programs have addressed gender and youth-related cross-cutting issues
