OVERVIEW

In the course of the CRRC-Armenia’s
methodological training sessions participants will learn the basics of SPSS,
main tools of data management and analysis and their implications to solve
different statistical problems. The training course will consist of two-day intensive
sessions with a closing check-up test in the end. Participants will receive
certificates upon completion of the course.

TARGET GROUP

The course is addressed
to PhD students, junior researchers and young professionals who are interested
in applying statistical software for their research purposes. Preliminary
knowledge of theory of statistics is preferred but not required.

SHORT BIO

Vahe Movsisyan works at the Central Bank of
Armenia in the Economic Research Department. He holds a Doctorate degree from
Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI) in 2007
and a Diploma in Economics from Armenia State University of Economics in 2004.
Mr. Movsisyan is a member of International Statistical Institute (ISI) and
International Association of Survey Statisticians (IASS). He is a co-founder of
Datamotus company. Since 2013 Mr. Movsisyan teaches Applied Statistics course
in American University of Armenia.
